In short this is the idea that if there is someone who needs something, if I show love to that person and share what I have I will prevent him from becoming envious and demanding it from me through government action. This will allow me to be free from government overreach in my life. If I show the person how to earn what I have and help him take advantage of opportunities in his life he takes care of himself and moves his family forward, this hopefully passes on from him as well.
Loving thy neighbor, being thy brothers keeper stops him from becoming a Democrat that thinks that that is the role of government, or that somehow giving money to government absolves you of your responsibility to be charitable as an individual.
So, love is the resistance to tyranny.
How do we make this happen? Tax incentives of course, what if the government paid you for helping a homeless man find a job get to AA meetings, letting him live in your spare room? It's possible through total tax relief including business tax relief for people who can prove their charity. In short you can adopt a homeless person or welfare family and mentor them, help them get to the programs and medicines they need for mental illness or whatever may be affecting them. Working with state social workers empty nesters could become tax free perhaps including exempting them from federal taxes as well.
